A film set can keep making things possible after the cameras leave. ARTS 14C says its free materials program, launched in February 2026, has redistributed the equivalent of eight tractor-trailer loads to more than 600 artists. Donations come from productions as well as businesses and individuals. In one example, walls from a Netflix dormitory set became a haunted-house installation, then scenery for The Magic Flute. The connection is practical: what a production no longer needs becomes something another artist can afford to make.
